Designed for Pudong International Airport to coincide with the 2019 International Import Expo, ‘Fabulous Shanghai’ is a multimedia narrative installation that offers travelers a first glimpse of the city’s rich past, present, and future after landing.

The installation is made up of two parts: first, a series of decorative frames inspired by Art-Deco, which depict various scenes of the city and integrate screens with media content. Second is a graceful of series of suspended screens which mimic the rooftops of old Shanghai, and depict the history of the great city like a scroll. The elements combine into the perfect place to snap a photo, and get excited about the city while waiting for a cab.
